Huehuetenango coffee is grown in the highland regions of Northern Guatemala. It has a subtropical highland climate with warm summers and mild winters. The beans are sorted by hand and pulped before being stacked in large volumes and thick layers on drying patios. When roasted, this coffee has a distinctive yet delicate cherry, chocolate and caramel flavour.
